We are an organization who fights food waste and word hunger. We work together for a better world.
Food waste is a pressing concern in today’s world. In 2021, around 828 million people were faced with hunger (WHO, 2022), yet in the same year the EU alone produced 131 kg of food waste per person (Fleck, 2024). It not only affects hunger, but also affects the environment, including the climate, resulting in greater problems for humans. We believe that this is an immoral and unjust way of life that cannot go on. Our final goal is to drastically reduce the food waste generated per person to 12 kg by 2050, but our goal for now is to reduce 90 kg by 2030. We are looking forward to creating a better world for future generations as well as the people living here and now by following our solutions.
